I recently moved from Outlook to Thunderbird and discovered that a large number of my old emails are saved as MSG files. The problem is that Thunderbird doesn't support MSG files directly, so I can't access years of important emails and attachments.

I tried a few manual methods, including converting individual files to EML and using Thunderbird add-ons, but the process is slow and not practical when dealing with hundreds of emails. My biggest concern is preserving attachments, sender details, timestamps, and folder structure during the conversion.

While searching online for ways to Open MSG File In Thunderbird, I found several discussions mentioning the DRS Softech MSG Converter as a possible solution for bulk conversions. It seems like many users prefer automated tools when handling large MSG archives.

Has anyone here successfully imported a large collection of MSG files into Thunderbird? What method worked best for you, and did it preserve all email data correctly? I'd appreciate any recommendations or real-world experiences before I start converting my entire archive.
