A client sent me a set of MSG files, but I do not use Outlook on my system. I can see the files, but cannot open them properly. I read that EML is supported by more email clients, so I am thinking about converting the MSG files to EML. Before doing that, I want to know if this is the right approach. Will the converted EML files keep the original email content and attachments? I only need a practical way to read and store these messages without depending on Outlook.
