We're currently preparing for a Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation after a series of Mergers & Acquisitions, and I underestimated how complicated shared mailbox migration could be. Moving user mailboxes seems fairly straightforward, but when multiple departments rely on the same mailbox, things become much more challenging.
Our HR, Finance, Customer Support, and Procurement teams all use shared mailboxes with delegated permissions, custom folders, and years of business communication. That's why our primary focus has been finding the most reliable way to Migrate Shared Mailboxes between Office 365 Tenants without affecting users or requiring extensive post-migration cleanup.
