I have accumulated a collection of PST files from different Outlook profiles and older computers. Each file contains a different set of emails and folders, and some of them are quite large. I now need to consolidate or export this data, but processing every PST file manually through Outlook seems like it could take a considerable amount of time.

The biggest concern is making sure that important mailbox information is not missed. Some archives contain attachments, contacts, calendars, and custom folders in addition to regular email messages. I would also like to avoid creating duplicate data because some of the PST files overlap.

This led me to look at PST converter software that supports batch processing. I came across the SysInfo PST Converter while researching different options. According to its feature information, it can process multiple PST files, allow selective folder and date-based conversion, preview mailbox content, and provide options for handling duplicate emails and attachments.

I am trying to understand whether these features are actually useful in a real migration scenario. For example, if I have ten or more PST archives, is batch conversion generally safer and more manageable than opening each file separately in Outlook? I would also like to know whether selecting only specific folders or date ranges can help reduce unnecessary data.

Another important factor is folder hierarchy. My older PST files contain several levels of custom folders, and manually rebuilding that structure after conversion would defeat much of the purpose of using a conversion tool.

For those who have recently converted multiple Outlook PST files, what workflow did you follow? Did you first preview and verify the mailbox contents, convert a small sample, and then process the complete collection?
