I have a VCF file that contains multiple contacts, but I’m not sure what data is inside it until I open or import it. Before splitting the file, I want to check all the contact details like names, phone numbers, and emails to make sure everything is correct. Is there any way to preview the contacts inside a VCF file without actually splitting or importing it first?
Yes, of course, it is absolutely possible to preview contacts within a VCF file before actually splitting them. A simple method can be followed to improve the quality of your current application. If you simply want to view your small VCF file then it may be sufficient to open the file with basic software applications (like a text editing program or an email application). The downside of this method is that the contact information may be spread out and hard to read and understand. However, this method will not work well if you have a larger VCF file. A better and more reliable method for previewing contacts within a VCF file would be to use a Split VCF File tool with a preview feature. This is exactly what ToolsBaer Software Address Book Manager offers. It allows you to easily load your VCF file and preview all the details of contacts within it in an organized and easily understandable manner. This type of VCF File Splitter will also aid you in avoiding errors because you can see exactly the information that is contained in the file before splitting the file. Once you are able to verify the information, you are then able to proceed to split the file with confidence using the same tool.
So, to answer your question, yes, it is possible to preview the file, and it is definitely recommended before splitting any vCard file that is large in quantity.
